Emily & Jeff Wedding

Back in September I had the pleasure of second shooting Emily and Jeff's wedding with Kelli Nicole Saunders. The wedding took place at Hans Fahden Vineyards in Calistoga. The venue was gorgeous and the ceremony took place in the middle of a cave. Normally, shooting in a dark cave is a photographer's nightmare, but the intimate setting and candlelight made for some stunning images. Emily and Jeff were a really fun and exciting couple to work with. They are from one of my favorite places in the world, Denver. Virtually every guest at their wedding was from Colorado so it was really special to have them all visit the California wine country. Here's a few images from the day. Thanks again Kelli, it was great working with you!

Ha! As a matter of fact it was. ISO 3200 handheld at 1/40 sec @ f2.8. That cave was literally pitch black. This made for a very unique and intimate ceremony, but we had to push our cameras to the limit. This was one of my favorite shots though.
